The Hanok Inspiration

In Korea, hanok are traditional houses that reflect a deep connection between architecture, nature, and human life. Built with natural materials such as wood, stone, and clay tiles, these homes are designed to harmonize with their surroundings, adapting to the seasons and emphasizing balance, light, and comfort.
We drew inspiration from this philosophy when designing our space. Above the kitchen, we created a structure reminiscent of a hanok roof, combining traditional Korean aesthetics with modern café design. It’s our way of honoring the quiet elegance and craftsmanship of Korean culture, while offering a warm and tranquil atmosphere where people can pause, connect, and enjoy the moment.

The Safe Place

Hidden within our space, The Safe Place is a quiet sanctuary designed to make you forget the passing of time. Wrapped entirely in soft carpet and gentle tones, it creates a warm, intimate atmosphere that invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and simply be present. Here, you can share a conversation, open up about your thoughts, or enjoy a comforting drink away from the outside world.

Inspired by the atmosphere of our larger listening room, this smaller version carries the same spirit of calm and connection, but on a more personal scale. It’s a place meant for stillness and sincerity, where every sound feels softer, every gesture feels slower, and every moment feels a little more meaningful. In The Safe Place, time seems to pause, allowing you to rest, reflect, and reconnect with yourself and with others.
